Day 4: Epcot

Our final day was spent at Epcot with a quick trip back to Magic Kingdom.  Ace really liked the Finding Nemo ride with the aquarium and exploration area all connected.  It was a pretty great area!  We saw lots of dolphins, sharks, turtles, & fish.  We were short on time, so we went over to the area with all of the countries next.  We had lots of characters to see!  We went to France first.  We saw Marie from the Aristocats and Belle.  We were pretty bummed that Beast was not with her.  Belle really liked the boys.  She referred to them as "princes" and told them they were as strong as Gaston:)  She gave Ace a kiss right after our picture.  Ace didn't mind:)  Next, we went to Morocco.  We met Aladdin & Jasmine there and moved on to Japan where Jett got his picture made with grassy Mater & Lightning McQueen in Tokyo.  We went to China last.  We met Mulan.  She was pretty great!  She answered all of our questions and surprised Jett with a kiss to match Ace's!  We had a great time at Epcot, then jumped on the monorail to Magic Kingdom.  We picked up our light saber souvenirs in Tomorrow Land and our Mickey ears on Main Street, then we packed up to go home.

Belle liked Ace!  She gave him quite a kiss:)

We met Aladdin & Jasmine in Morocco.  Jett really liked Jasmine!

Mulan noticed Ace's kiss.  Jett was explaining how Belle left it on his face:)

Mulan is one of our favorites!  We met her in China.

 My boys love the monorail!

Day 3: Animal Kingdom

We spent our third day at Animal Kingdom.  Ace was exhausted after breakfast at the Polynesian, so he took a nap in Daddy's arms on the Disney bus.  He was ready to go when we got there!  Animal Kingdom was a lot of fun.  Ace really enjoyed petting the ferret at Rafiki's Conservation Station, and he enjoyed the short train ride there.  He loved seeing all of the animals on the Kilimanjaro Safari, especially the giraffes & birds (flamingos).  Animal Kingdom had a new show (new as in not there 8 years ago) called Finding Nemo the Musical.  Finding Nemo is Ace's favorite movie!  He tried his hardest to fight off his nap, but sleep won in the end.  He caught the beginning of the musical.  I loved every minute of it!  It was a great addition to Animal Kingdom.  We watched the parade after Nemo and headed back to the resort.  It was a great day!

Ace got in a quick nap on the way to Animal Kingdom.

Ace loved seeing the giraffes on our safari!

He was pretty excited about the birds, tweet tweet too!  It didn't matter that they were flamingos:)

Breakfast with Lilo & Stitch at O' Hana

On Saturday morning, we had breakfast at the O' Hana restaurant in the Polynesian Resort.  It was great!  We got to meet Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, & Pluto.  The boys marched with all of the characters in the parade at the beginning and end of breakfast.  Ace really enjoyed shaking the maracas!  Ace was a good eater, as always.  He loved his Mickey shaped waffle!  He also ate a little bit of eggs, sausage, and island potatoes.  Ace loved Mickey Mouse!  He really had a hard time with Stitch & Pluto.  I think he would've liked Lilo a lot, but she was really hard to catch.  We had to chase her down at the end of breakfast.  She was a busy little girl:)  Ace was exhausted by the end of breakfast and slept on the bus ride to Animal Kingdom.

An iffy high five for Stitch:)

We love Mickey Mouse, even Ace!

Ace really didn't like Pluto!  Jett sure was cute though:)

Daddy took this picture 8 years ago on our honeymoon (minus the boys:)

The boys had a great time during the parade!

Hollywood & Vine

We had our first character dining experience at Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios.  I really thought the boys would love it & they did!  They love watching Disney Junior in the mornings, and at lunch they got to meet some of their favorite characters.  Special Agent Oso, Handy Manny, Jake from the Neverland Pirates, and June from Little Einsteins were all there.  They played lots of songs from these shows, and the kids got to sing & dance with the characters.  It was a wonderful experience, and the food was good too!

My 3 guys waiting patiently for our table.

 Five for Oso:)

Ace really liked Special Agent Oso!

Ace was not happy.  It was definitely nap time!

Acting silly with Jett after lunch.

Day 2: Hollywood Studios

On our second day, we went to Disney's Hollywood Studios, formerly MGM.  I believe this was everyone's favorite park.  Hollywood Studios has lots of shows and a really great parade.  We met Phineas & Ferb, one of the army men from Toy Story, and Lightning McQueen & Mater.  We saw lots of our favorite characters in the Disney/Pixar parade.  We had a character lunch at Hollywood & Vine.  That will have it's own blog entry:)  We watched a really cool car stunt show that featured Lightning McQueen, which we all loved!  I think the boys liked the shows the best (can't beat air conditioning).  We watched Beauty & the Beast, The Little Mermaid, The Muppets, and the boys' favorite, Disney Junior.  They were all great!  Ace really liked watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, and Jake & the Neverland Pirates at the Disney Junior show.  He slept through all of Beauty & the Beast.  He was pretty exhausted by that point.  After heading back to the hotel, we finished Hollywood Studios by watching "Fantasmic," their lights & water show.  It was at 9 & Ace slept through that one too:)

Day 1: Magic Kingdom

It's been awhile since my last post.  I am really trying to do better.  We are so busy these days!
We spent our first day at Magic Kingdom.  We were all pretty excited!  Ace didn't know how much fun he was going to have.  Our first stop was to get a stroller, very smart move.  We rode "It's a Small World" first, and Ace loved it!  He wanted to jump out, and go for a swim instead of riding the boat, but eventually got over it & just enjoyed the children & animals:)  Jett screamed almost the whole time.  They are so different!  After our first ride, we went back to exchange our stroller for a double.  Best decision ever!  Ace was pretty bummed that he didn't get to drive the Indy cars with Jett, but we enjoyed watching for him & waving.  Ace really enjoyed Buzz Lightyear's Space Adventure.  He liked all of the characters from a distance.  He liked Mickey Mouse and Tinkerbell & Terrence up close:)  Ace also really liked the "Wishes" firework show at the castle.  It was a great first day!

Disney's Allstar Movies Resort

We took our family vacation to Disney World this year.  We left on May 1st & came back on May 6th.  We had an awesome time!  Our first night, we spent a lot of time at the resort.  The boys loved the car/racing theme of our Herbie the Love Bug section.  They also really liked the Toy Story themed section of the resort.  We spent nearly every evening in Andy's Room.  Ace probably would've been plenty happy just staying at the resort.  He loved hiding under the nightstand in our room, he loved the pool, and he loved Herbie & all of the Toy Story characters!  Add a few shows to all that, and he would've been set!
Ace also really liked the monorail.  I believe that he & Jett will both love the Polynesian Resort next year!

Ace loved hiding under our nightstand:)

Ace did not want to let go of Herbie!

Ace & Jett loved hiding in between Buzz's blocks!

Ace was determined to climb up on Buzz's shoes.
